Job Title: Manager – Pharmacy Operations

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Operations skilled to oversee the day-to-day functioning of hospital pharmacy operations, ensuring smooth dispensing, inventory control, regulatory compliance, and timely availability of medicines and pharmacy products.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of hospital pharmacy / inpatient and outpatient pharmacy.
Ensure timely and accurate dispensing of medicines as per prescriptions.
Monitor pharmacy inventory, stock levels, expiry, near-expiry and slow-moving items.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, purchase and stores teams for medicine requirements.
Ensure proper storage of medicines as per required temperature and safety standards.
Monitor stock movement, consumption, returns and wastage.
Ensure compliance with Drug & Cosmetic Act, Pharmacy Act, NABH and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Maintain pharmacy records, registers, licences and statutory documentation.




Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure proper duty allocation and shift management.
Monitor billing, pricing, discounts, credit notes and pharmacy-related transactions.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
Implement processes to reduce stock-outs, expiry losses and inventory variance.
Handle customer/patient queries and resolve pharmacy-related operational issues.
Coordinate with vendors and the purchase team for uninterrupted medicine availability.
Prepare and review pharmacy MIS reports, consumption reports and inventory reports.
Train pharmacy staff on SOPs, medication safety and operational procedures.
Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations.

Qualification - B.Pharm / M.Pharm / D.Pharm from a recognized institution.

Experience - 8+yrs of experience
