Job Summary:

Sky Ocean Shipping is seeking an experienced Assistant Accounts Manager to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support the Accounts Manager in ensuring accurate and timely financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting transactions, invoicing, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
Monitor customer outstanding balances and coordinate collections.
Manage bank, customer, supplier, and ledger reconciliations.
Assist with monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
Monitor shipping-related income, expenses, and job costing.
Coordinate with Operations and other departments on billing and accounting matters.
Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents.
Assist with VAT/tax compliance,



audits, and statutory requirements.
Supervise and support the Accounts team to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
Valuable knowledge of accounting principles, MS Excel, and ERP/accounting software.
Solid management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
