Role Description

This is a full time, in office Category Buyer role based in the Greater Delhi Area. The Category Buyer will manage assigned product categories, including demand planning, sourcing, purchasing, and cost optimization in alignment with company procurement strategies. Daily responsibilities include identifying and evaluating suppliers, leading negotiations on pricing and contracts, and ensuring timely availability of goods while maintaining quality and compliance standards. The role involves analyzing spend data, monitoring market trends, and preparing category performance reports to support decision-making. The Category Buyer will collaborate closely with operations, sales, and finance teams to address business requirements, streamline procurement processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Robust category management skills, including planning,



assortment management, and strategy development for assigned categories.

Proven experience in supplier negotiation and vendor relationship management to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.

Advanced analytical skills to interpret spend data, market trends, and performance metrics for informed procurement decisions.

Competence in contract negotiation and purchasing activities, including drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
Rohini, Delhi, Delhi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
