Shift Supervisor - Biomedical Waste Management

Job Location: Maduranthagam

Qualification
ITI
Diploma (Any Discipline)
Any Bachelor's Degree

Experience

Experience in Biomedical Waste Management, Waste Management, Plant Operations, or a similar field will be preferred.

Shift Pattern
The candidate must be willing to work in three shifts.
Rotational shift timings will be applicable.
One weekly off will be provided as per the shift roster and operational requirements.

Job Responsibilities
Supervise and manage all operational activities during the assigned shift.
Ensure the proper collection, transportation, segregation, and processing of biomedical waste as per company procedures and applicable statutory guidelines.
Monitor employees and allocate manpower based on operational requirements.
Ensure smooth functioning of biomedical waste treatment equipment and report any operational issues or breakdowns to the concerned department.
Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)



by all employees.
Monitor workplace safety, housekeeping, and hygiene during the shift.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with Drivers, Operators, Waste Handlers, and other employees for smooth operations.
Conduct shift handovers and communicate significant information to the incoming Shift Supervisor.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

Required Skills
Ability to work in rotational shifts.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and computer operations will be an added advantage.
Ability to handle manpower and resolve operational issues effectively.
Should be responsible, disciplined, and capable of handling shift operations independently.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
