Job Description – Filler

Position: Jewellery Filler
Location: SEEPZ, Mumbai

Job Responsibilities
Perform filling and finishing work on gold and diamond jewellery after casting and manufacturing processes.
Fill gaps, holes, joints, and uneven areas using appropriate metal and filling techniques.
Ensure jewellery surfaces are smooth, even, and properly finished before polishing.
Identify casting defects, porosity, cracks, and uneven surfaces and carry out necessary corrections.
Work carefully on delicate and intricate jewellery designs without damaging the original shape.
Use appropriate hand tools for filing, filling, shaping, and correction work.
Coordinate with Casting, Production, Polishing, Setting, and QC teams for required corrections.
Check completed pieces for proper shape, surface quality, and finishing.
Maintain daily production targets while ensuring quality and accuracy.




Keep tools and work area clean and organized.

Required Skills
Positive knowledge of jewellery filling, filing, and finishing processes.
Experience in gold/diamond jewellery manufacturing.
Positive hand skills and attention to detail.
Ability to identify and correct minor manufacturing defects.
Knowledge of jewellery casting defects will be an advantage.
Ability to work on intricate and delicate jewellery pieces.
Valuable teamwork and ability to meet production timelines.

Qualification
10th/12th pass or equivalent.
Relevant jewellery manufacturing experience preferred.

Salary

₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
