Supervise daily forging operations, including heating, forging, trimming, and related processes.
Plan and allocate manpower, machines, dies, tools, and materials as per production requirements.
Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned time and quality standards.
Monitor forging parameters such as temperature, pressure, stroke, cycle time, and die condition.
Ensure proper setting and operation of forging machines, presses, hammers, and heating equipment.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Die Shop, and Heat Treatment departments.
Monitor rejection, rework, downtime, and production losses and take corrective action.
Ensure proper inspection of components at different stages of forging.
Maintain daily production reports, downtime reports, rejection reports, and shift handover records.




Ensure proper handling and identification of raw materials, WIP, dies, tools, and finished components.
Monitor die life and report die/tool-related issues to the concerned department.
Strictly ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, machine guarding, and secure working practices.
Train and guide operators and helpers regarding machine operation, process parameters, quality, and safety.
