Job Description

The HR Manager/Head will lead the University's Human Resources function and develop and implement effective HR strategies, policies, systems, and practices to support academic and administrative excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the University's HR strategy and annual HR plan.
Lead recruitment and workforce planning for faculty and administrative positions.
Establish effective recruitment, selection, onboarding, promotion, and succession processes.
Develop and review HR policies, service rules, and employee procedures.
Oversee employee performance management and appraisal systems.
Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace issues.
Ensure compliance with applicable labour/employment laws and University regulations.
Oversee compensation, perks, leave, attendance, and HR administration.
Develop training, professional development, and employee engagement programmes.




Manage HR information systems and ensure accuracy of employee data.
Prepare HR budgets, reports, workforce analytics, and management recommendations.
Lead and mentor the HR team.
Promote a professional, inclusive, ethical, and employee-friendly workplace culture.

Qualifications & Experience
Master's degree/MBA in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably including experience in higher education.
Proven experience leading an HR department or large HR function.
Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR policy, and employment compliance.
Excellent leadership, strategic planning, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

NOTE- HR Manager/HR Head post to be open to candidates currently working as HR Assistants or Deputy HR,

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
