Job Requirements

Technical Lead - Process Engineering JD:
Review and verification of inputs as per the project requirement.
Prepare and review process flow diagram for process based on project requirement.
Prepare, update and review P&IDs; based on Process flow or project requirement.
Performs specialized engineering duties related to pipeline system surge analysis, operating pressures and overpressure protection calculations.
Conduct surge analysis modeling for projects.
Review and evaluate data related to overpressure protection setpoints, sizing and installation requirements.
Assist in design and specification of current/modified overpressure protection mitigations.
Prepare, update and Process Datasheets for Process equipment like Pumps, Storage tanks, Reactors, Vessels, Columns, Separator, Heat Exchangers and other process equipment such as filtration equipment, and drying equipment.
Prepare, update and review Process Datasheets for Instrumentation.
Perform and review Hydraulic study, Hydraulic calculations for Line sizing, Pump head etc.
Perform,



review Control valve sizing calculations.
Perform, review Relief valve sizing calculations using appropriate codes
Prepare, update and review line list, equipment list etc.,
Preparation of Design Basis documents.
Prepare, update and review Cause and Effect and Control Narratives based on the project requirements.

Work Experience

Required Qualifications & Background
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, or Petrochemical Engineering.
Experience: Usually 12+ years of experience in Process design engineering, particularly in Oil & Gas, chemicals, or Petrochemical Industry.
Software & Tools: Proficiency in simulation tools like Aspen HYSYS, AFT, SPS, Pipenet, Flarenet, AutoCAD.
Core Competencies: Solid analytical skills, communication, and the ability to influence design decisions and leading team.
Robust knowledge in International Design codes and standards.
