Recording patient histories relating to medicinal use, and ensuring the safe and secure storage of all medicines and hospital supplies.
Ensuring medicinal product are stored appropriately and securely to ensure freshness and potency.
Ensuring medication reaches the patient in the correct form and dose-this may include tablets, capsules, ointments, injection, inhalers and various pharmaceutical products.
Being responsible for the accurate dispensing and timely distribution of drugs and medicines for IP & OP
Responding to medication-related queries from within the hospital, and general public
Keep up to date with, the recent development in pharmaceutical field, often in collaboration with medical staff and colleagues in pharmacy
Check prescription for errors,



ensuring they’re appropriate and protected for the individual patient.
Provide information on expenditure on drugs
Prepare and quality-check sterile medications and also the crash cot medicines.
To arrange for periodic stock verification. Stocks should be physically verified with books once in every three Months.
To maintain Vendor database.
Short expiry medicine identification and inform to manager
Coordinate for medicine stock verification.
Will do billing entry, medicine return as per policy.
Credit bills handover to cashier and then follow-up
Update quality indicator registers.
Individual racks will clean and update medicine requirements to manager
To coordinate with Market pharmacies for arranging non-available drugs.
