About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and confident Business Development & Marketing Executive to join our freight forwarding business. The primary responsibility of this role will be to identify and target potential customers, introduce our freight forwarding services, share company profiles and service offerings, and consistently follow up with leads to generate current business.

The role will involve significant interaction with overseas customers, importers, exporters, and international business contacts, making excellent English communication and relationship-building skills essential.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities among importers, exporters, manufacturers, traders, and international customers.
Generate and target potential leads through online research, databases, referrals, industry networks, and other channels.
Make cold calls to prospective customers and introduce the company's freight forwarding and logistics services.
Conduct skilled email outreach to overseas and domestic prospects.
Share company profiles, service details, quotations, and other relevant information with prospective customers.
Follow up consistently with leads through calls, emails,



and other communication channels.
Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the internal operations/pricing teams to provide suitable logistics solutions.
Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, customer interactions, and sales opportunities.
Follow up with customers regarding ongoing and future shipment requirements.

Key Skills & Qualifications
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
Strong confidence and professionalism when communicating with overseas customers.

Develop a strong understanding of freight forwarding services, including import/export shipments, ocean freight, air freight, customs-related requirements, and other logistics solutions offered by the company.
Work towards achieving monthly and annual business development and revenue targets.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new prospects.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience from enquiry to shipment completion.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
