Job Description – Production Supervisor

About the Company

Ambica Industries is a manufacturing company engaged in chemical and industrial products. We are looking for a responsible and experienced Production Supervisor to manage daily production activities at our Domjur and Jangalpur units.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor day-to-day production activities.
Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
Manage and coordinate production workers and shift activities.
Monitor production processes, machinery, and material usage.
Maintain proper production records and daily reports.
Ensure quality, safety, and production standards are followed.
Coordinate with the Maintenance, Quality Control, Stores, and other departments.
Identify production issues and take corrective action.




Ensure proper housekeeping and discipline within the production area.
Follow company safety rules and operational procedures.

Requirements
Graduate/Diploma in Engineering or relevant technical qualification preferred.
2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing/chemical industry preferred.
Positive knowledge of production processes and shop-floor operations.
Ability to manage workers and handle production-related issues.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
Candidates from Howrah, Domjur, Jangalpur, Santragachi, and nearby areas will be preferred.
