Job Title: Junior Accountant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to assist with day-to-day accounting and financial activities. The candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles, financial records, invoices, and bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounts.
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Perform data entry and maintain accounting records.
Assist with bank reconciliations and financial statements.
Maintain petty cash and expense records.
Support the preparation of monthly financial reports.
Verify and organize bills, vouchers, and other financial documents.
Coordinate with suppliers, customers,
and internal departments regarding accounts-related matters.
Assist senior accountants with audits and other accounting tasks.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Previous experience in accounting is preferred.
Positive knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Valuable attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Tally, ERP, or other accounting software.
Good communication skills in English.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
