Tokyo Electron India is looking for a Simulation Engineer – TCAD to join their Simulation Technology Group. The TCAD Engineer will build and calibrate TCAD models for a wide range of semiconductor devices. Using these models, the TCAD Engineer will run extensive simulations towards development and optimization of Tokyo Electron’s products. In addition, the TCAD Engineer will be involved in the physics-based models of process integration flows for advanced logic and memory technology nodes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and calibrate TCAD models for advanced logic and memory technology nodes
Use the developed models to quantify device-level impact of process changes
Simulate process integration flows for the latest technology nodes
Build physics-based models to capture nanoscale device phenomena
Work with other simulation engineers to guide the development and optimization of next generation semiconductor production equipment.
Requirements:
Ph.D. in Microelectronics, Physics with a strong background in semiconductor device physics and semiconductor process technology
At least 2 years of Post doctorate / industry experience
Possesses robust knowledge of process integration flows for advanced technology nodes
Experience in Hands-on cleanroom/Fab in PVD/CVD/ALD processes
Familiar with more than one TCAD simulator is preferred
Solid strategic planning, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work in a challenging and fast-paced customer-focused and industrial setting
Fluency in Japanese is preferred
Open to travel when needed
