Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee electrical systems, preventative maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling industrial electrical infrastructure to ensure minimal downtime and optimal operational safety.

Key Responsibilities
Routine & Preventive Maintenance: Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly electrical maintenance schedules for factory machinery, motors, switchgears, and control panels.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve electrical failures, PLC faults, wiring issues, power distribution disruptions, and drive issues promptly to minimize production downtime.
Equipment Oversight: Monitor the performance of transformers, HT/LT panels, generators, DG sets, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and motor control centers (MCC).




Safety & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with industrial electrical safety standards, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures, and statutory safety guidelines.
Breakdown Analysis: Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for major electrical breakdowns and implement long-term corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Spare Parts Management: Maintain inventory of critical electrical spares, tools, and equipment to ensure immediate availability during breakdowns.
Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of HT/LT power distribution, PLCs, VFDs, relay logic, electric motors, and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
Relocation: Candidate must be willing to relocate near the industrial facility in Gummidipoondi.
