Role & responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js.
Build secure and scalable RESTful APIs.
Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.
Integrate third-party APIs and services.
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
Implement security and data protection best practices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to system architecture.
Required Skills
Solid proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with Express.js or NestJS.
Positive understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other databases.
Knowledge of authentication methods such as JWT and OAuth.
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Understanding of Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka is an advantage.
Robust problem-solving and communication skills.
