Job Description Head of HR

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and dynamic Head of HR to lead the organization’s entire Human Resources function across all locations in India. The role involves driving HR strategy, managing large-scale manpower operations, overseeing payroll, statutory compliance, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. Hands-on expertise in greytHR or similar HRMS software is mandatory. This position requires robust leadership, exceptional operational control, and the proven ability to manage 1200+ employees across multiple sites with discipline, efficiency, and structured HR governance.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full HR function across all company locations.
Oversee end-to-end recruitment, manpower planning, and on-boarding processes.
Drive monthly payroll processing through greytHR or similar HRMS software.
Ensure 100% statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.)
Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and documentation.




Lead performance management, appraisal systems, and capability development.
Monitor attendance, shift schedules, and workforce deployment across sites.
Manage and coordinate a diverse workforce of 1200+ employees from multiple locations across India.
Oversee HR audits, compliance reviews, and internal governance processes.
Advise senior management on HR strategy, organizational planning, and workforce efficiency.
Handle high-pressure situations, operational challenges, and decision-making in manpower-critical settings.

Requirements
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
7–12 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably handling large-scale manpower.
Mandatory experience with greytHR or similar HRMS software.
Solid knowledge of Indian labor laws and multi-state compliance.
Proven leadership and team-management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and HR data reporting. Role & responsibilities
