Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AS400 Developer with solid expertise in RPGLE and IBM iSeries technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise applications on the AS400 platform.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and support applications on AS400 / IBM iSeries platform.
Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
Perform coding, testing, debugging, and deployment of RPGLE programs.
Work on enhancements, bug fixes, and production support activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for application integration and issue resolution.
Ensure application performance, security, and coding standards compliance.
Prepare technical documentation and support release activities.

Required Skills
Strong experience in RPGLE, CLLE, DB2/400, SQLRPGLE




Hands-on experience with IBM iSeries / AS400
Valuable understanding of application development lifecycle
Experience in debugging and performance tuning
Knowledge of batch jobs, subfiles, and stored procedures
Exposure to production support and incident management
Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills
Exposure to APIs, Web Services, or integration projects
Experience with change management tools
Agile/Scrum methodology knowledge is an advantage

Notice Period: 0 to 60 days preferred
