We are looking for an experienced Head Maintenance for a leading automotive component manufacturing company based in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage overall machine maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability.
Plan and monitor preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
Drive improvement in machine uptime and OEE.
Analyse recurring breakdowns and implement root cause and corrective actions.
Ensure availability of critical spares, tools and maintenance resources.
Drive TPM, Autonomous Maintenance, 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor maintenance KPIs including MTTR, MTBF, downtime and maintenance cost.
Manage maintenance budgets and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
Oversee plant utilities including compressors, chillers, DG sets and electrical panels.
Lead installation, commissioning, relocation and validation of recent machines.
Develop and manage the maintenance team, including training and skill development.




Ensure compliance with Safety, EHS, IATF and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tool Room, PPC, OEMs and external service providers.

Key Skills / Experience
Strong experience in Injection Moulding machine maintenance.
Robust knowledge of Electrical, Hydraulic and Electronics troubleshooting.
Experience in Preventive, Predictive & TPM Maintenance.
Strong breakdown analysis and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Energy Management and Utility Maintenance.
Exposure to IATF and EHS requirements.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Experience in machine installation, commissioning and maintenance projects.
Positive knowledge of MTTR, MTBF, OEE and maintenance cost management.

Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics
