Roles & Responsibilities Electrical & Instrumentation Design Engineer
Design and develop Electrical & Instrumentation systems for Oil & Gas EPC projects.
Prepare SLDs, Load Lists, Cable Schedules, Instrument Index and I/O Lists.
Perform cable sizing, voltage drop, load flow and short-circuit calculations.
Develop earthing, lighting, equipment layout and cable routing designs.
Prepare instrument datasheets, hook-ups, control system architecture and Cause & Effect diagrams.
Prepare technical specifications, MTO/BOQ, MR and TBE for E&I; equipment.
Review vendor drawings, datasheets and engineering documents.
Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Civil and other engineering disciplines.
Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, NFPA, API, ISA and client specifications.
Support procurement, construction, commissioning and site engineering activities.
Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL and design review meetings.
Ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables as per project quality and schedule requirements.
