Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain database objects including tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, and packages.
Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries for performance and scalability.
Analyze and resolve database-related issues in production and non-production settings.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, migration, and data-fix activities.
Work closely with Java/.NET and frontend teams for database integration and application requirements.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, including query optimization and indexing.
Participate in database design, impact analysis, and technical discussions.
Support deployment activities and ensure proper execution of database scripts across environments.
Follow coding standards, version control, documentation, and change-management processes.
Support production issues and provide timely root-cause analysis and fixes.
Required Technical Skills
2+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database development.
Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.

Cursors
Views & Materialized Views
Indexes
Constraints
Transactions and Exception Handling
Experience in SQL query tuning and performance optimization.
Good understanding of database normalization and data modelling.
Experience in data migration, data validation, and reconciliation.
Basic knowledge of Oracle performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
Exposure to application integration with Java/.NET is an advantage.
Good to Have
Experience with Oracle 12c+
Knowledge of large-volume transactional databases.
Experience with JDBC/REST/API-based application integration.
Exposure to banking, financial services, government, or other transaction-intensive applications.
Knowledge of Git/version control and deployment processes.
