Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain data integration workflows using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from multiple source systems.
Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuned database solutions.
Implement data cleansing, transformation, and validation processes to ensure high data quality.
Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline failures, data quality issues, and performance bottlenecks.
Participate in code reviews, deployment activities, and production support.
Create and maintain technical design documents, mapping specifications, and operational runbooks.
Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and best practices.
Must-Have Skills
4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL Development, or Data Integration.
Robust hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS):
Cloud Data Integration (CDI)
Taskflows
Parameterization
REST/API integrations
Error handling and monitoring
Solid expertise in SQL with hands-on experience in:
Complex joins and subqueries
Stored procedures/functions
Query optimization and performance tuning
Data modeling fundamentals
Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar.
Understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
Experience with source control tools such as Git.
Valuable-to-Have Skills
Experience with Snowflake data warehouse:
Snowflake SQL
Data loading and transformation
Performance optimization
Streams, Tasks, and Snowpipe
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting for automation.
Experience with Data Quality and Data Governance frameworks.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
