Monitor the quality of moulded components during production.
Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
Ensure products comply with customer drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Check critical dimensions, appearance, weight, fitment, and functional requirements.
Identify and segregate defective or non-conforming parts.
Moulding Process Quality
Monitor moulding process parameters such as temperature, pressure, speed, cooling time, and cycle time.
Ensure approved process parameters are followed consistently.
Identify process-related defects and support corrective actions.
Monitor mould condition and coordinate with Production/Maintenance for mould-related issues.
Reduce rejection, rework, and process variation.
Defect Analysis & Corrective Action
Analyze moulding defects such as:
Short moulding
Flash
Sink marks
Warpage
Weld lines
Burn marks
Flow marks
Dimensional variation
Colour/appearance defects
