Key Responsibilities
Monitor production applications and ensure system availability.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents within defined SLAs.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring production issues and recommend preventive actions.
Analyze application logs, stack traces, and system alerts to identify issues.
Troubleshoot APIs, microservices, databases, and application integrations.
Execute SQL queries for data validation and issue analysis.
Coordinate with Development, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Business teams for issue resolution.
Support production deployments, releases, and post-deployment validation.
Maintain incident, problem, and change records using ticketing tools.
Prepare operational reports and participate in on-call support as required.
Identify opportunities for automation and operational improvements.
Required Skills
25 years of experience in Application/Production Support.
Strong knowledge of SQL and database troubleshooting.




Valuable understanding of Linux/Unix commands.
Working knowledge of Java or Golang for application debugging and production issue analysis.
Understanding of REST APIs, Microservices, and distributed systems.
Experience with application log analysis and monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, etc.).
Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing platforms.
Valuable understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Valuable to Have
Exposure to Redis, Kafka, or messaging systems.
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in Retail, Supply Chain, Warehouse, or Enterprise Applications.
