HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE WITH PLAYWRIGHT FOR BOTH UI AND API AUTOMATION - MANDATORY
Develop and maintain automated regression and smoke suites; keep them secure, reliable,

and low-noise
Convert high-value manual regression cases into automated coverage
Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines and report results back to the team




Automate API tests using Playwright's built-in API testing capabilities (APIRequestContext /

request fixture) in TypeScript.
Perform exploratory and manual API testing using Postman or equivalent tools
Test REST services and SOAP services where applicable.
Validate applications against JSON/XML API contracts, including schema validation, error

handling, authentication, and negative scenarios.
Combine UI and API layers in end-to-end scenarios using API calls for test setup, data

seeding, and state verification.
Own quality assurance for assigned applications and features across frontend and backend

layers

General
Identify, log, prioritise, and track defects to closure reproduce issues and partner with

developers on root cause.
Contribute to test strategy, test plans, estimation, and quality gates within the SDLC.
Participate fully in Agile/Scrum ceremonies sprint planning, standups, reviews, and

retrospectives.
Ensure compliance with web, cloud, browser, and API standards.
CANDIDATES WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF DIFFERENT PROTOCOLS, LIKE MODBUS, HTTP, SNMP,

IEC61850 WORKING KNOWLEDGE ON WIRESHARK FRAME TRACE, MODBUS LOGS ETC WOULD

BE PREFERRED.
KNOWLEDGE ON ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION DEVICES ARE PREFERABLE.
