Tractor background
At least 2 years of experience with CAD software (NX and Teamcenter)
Proficiency in engineering drawings
Robust understanding of the tractor manufacturing process
Proficiency in Excel and SAP
Job Responsibilities
Drive commonization of components, systems, and assemblies across different tractor platforms and models.
Identify opportunities for part commonality, standardisation, and design optimisation to reduce component variants.
Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchase, Quality, and Product teams to implement communication initiatives.
Conduct benchmarking, technical feasibility, cost-benefit analysis, and value engineering for proposed commonised components.
Maintain and develop common component standards, guidelines, and databases for Tractor R&D.;
Lead implementation of commonised designs while ensuring performance, reliability, quality, and regulatory requirements are met.
Analyse existing designs and BOMs to identify duplication, variant proliferation, and cost-reduction prospects.
Support platform development and modular architecture through effective component and subsystem commonisation.
Track commonisation projects, savings, timelines, and implementation status through cross-functional reviews
