The SCADA Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting SCADA systems to ensure reliable monitoring and control of plant operations. The role includes preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, system health monitoring, and coordination with operations teams to minimize downtime.
Monitor SCADA systems and respond to alarms and faults.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of SCADA hardware and software.
Perform SCADA system testing, upgrades, and commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ability to read electrical and control system drawings.
Update maintenance activities in SAP or equivalent maintenance management systems.
Maintain LV/MV electrical systems, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, protection relays, and control panels.
Preferred candidate profile
Valid High Voltage (HV) Electrical Safety/Authorization Certificate.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using 5 Why, Fishbone, and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
Knowledge of electrical isolation procedures, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), permit-to-work systems, and electrical safety standards.
Diagnose communication issues between PLCs, SCADA, RTUs, sensors, and field devices
SCADA/Industrial Automation Certification.
