Role & responsibilities:
Handle air export and import shipments from booking through to final delivery.
Book cargo space with airlines and coordinate with airline cargo teams.
Prepare and check airway bills, shipment documents and customer updates.
Coordinate customs clearance and follow up on anything holding a shipment up.
Work with overseas agents through the company's global network.
Use the company's operating system daily and give feedback on it as it is built.
Learn air freight operations on the floor, with training from an experienced team.

Preferred candidate profile:
Fresh graduate in an IT or computer stream. B.Tech, B.E., B.Sc or BCA.
Also open to candidates with a few months of IT experience who want to move into logistics.
Comfortable with technology and with AI tools as everyday working aids.




Willing to learn air freight operations hands-on rather than from a desk.
Transparent spoken and written English. Tamil helpful.
Based in Chennai or able to relocate, and able to work a six-day week.

Note:
This is an operations role, not a software development role. You will use and improve the company's systems, not build them.
The office is near the airport cargo belt in Chennai. Please check the commute before applying.
Six days a week. Air freight runs on customer deadlines and hours are not always fixed.
Trainee to start, moving to Executive on confirmation. Yearly appraisal. No bond.
