Role & responsibilities
Conduct daily site safety inspections and ensure compliance with applicable EHS policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
Identify workplace hazards and conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment, and Hazard Identification activities.
Monitor and control high-risk activities such as work at height, hot work, confined space entry, lifting & rigging, excavation, electrical work, and work permit activities.
Ensure proper implementation of the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system and verify that all required safety precautions are in place before commencing work.
Conduct regular toolbox talks, safety inductions, awareness programs, and daily safety briefings for employees and contractors.




Ensure proper selection and usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at the workplace.
Monitor scaffolding, ladders, safety harnesses, lifelines, barricading, access/egress, and other safety arrangements.
Investigate near misses, incidents, accidents, and unsafe conditions, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain and update safety records, inspection reports, incident reports, training records, and other EHS documentation.
Coordinate with project management, supervisors, engineers, contractors, and workers to resolve safety-related issues.
