Role & responsibilities :
Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and ITC safety guidelines.
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and develop preventive measures.
Provide safety training and education to employees at all levels.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and central safety regulations as per the guidelines framed by the competent authority.
Monitor and analyse safety performance metrics and report findings to management.
Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile :
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a safety management role, in a manufacturing setting.
Certification as Safety Officer as per Safety Officers rule by Factories dept, Govt. of Telangana will be preferred or RLI Safety certification.
