Roles and responsibilities:
Desired to have worked across all phases of current product development processes- initiation, requirements management, concepting, detailed design, verification validation, handing over for production with accountability of deliverables across phases.

Designing for weight, volume, thermal performance, and IP sealing while ensuring serviceability and manufacturability (DFM/DFA).

Positive working knowledge of Engineering Fundamentals, DFMEA, GDT, drawing for production, tolerance analysis, Engineering Calculations and other product development associated techniques and tools.

Good knowledge on various manufacturing processes.

Conducting root cause analyses (RCAs) for issues during testing and field deployment.





Proficient with 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks)

Prepare, modify, and release drawing packages into the PLM system.
Other Competencies Risk Management (FMEA), Vendor development, Cost Engineering Estimation

Technical Skills
Robust understanding of DFMA principles, mechanical tolerating, and design optimization for fabrication.
