Roles and Responsibilities
Manage daily furnace operations (start-up, melting, tapping, and slag removal) to meet production schedules.
Guide, train, and evaluate furnace and ladle operators and manage shift activities.
Perform routine maintenance and inspection of furnaces, crucibles, and related equipment.
Oversee the proper charging and usage of raw materials (scrap, alloys, fluxes) for maximum efficiency and minimum waste.
Experience - Minimum 1 year in Melting department.
