Kanakia International School (IGCSE) is seeking a passionate, creative, and student-focused Primary Maths & Science Teacher for Grades 1 to 3, with Mathematics as the major teaching subject. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, develop strong numeracy and scientific thinking skills, and create an engaging classroom environment that promotes inquiry-based learning in line with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for students in Grades 1–3 following the Cambridge Primary/IGCSE philosophy.
Teach Primary Science through hands-on experiments, investigations, and inquiry-based learning.
Foster conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments and maintain accurate academic records.




Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
Integrate technology and cutting-edge teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
Develop lesson plans, worksheets, learning resources, and assessment materials.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary learning experiences.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, career development programmes, and curriculum planning.
Ensure the safety, well-being, and holistic development of every child.

Qualification & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is mandatory.
Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in Primary Mathematics and Science.
Experience in Cambridge Primary/IGCSE curriculum will be preferred.
Fresh candidates with excellent subject knowledge and strong communication skills may also be considered.
