As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking line of business, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, reliable, and scalable way.
Job responsibilities
Develop and enhance Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud using Apex, SOQL/SOSL, LWC, and platform configuration.
Design and implement integrations with internal/external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth/Named Credentials, Platform Events/CDC, and event-driven patterns.
Build resilient integration behavior including error handling, retries, idempotency, and monitoring hooks.
Deliver scalable implementations mindful of governor limits, bulkification, and async patterns (Batch, Queueable, Schedulable, Future).
Implement automation using Flow, validation rules, approvals, and declarative features, making appropriate Flow vs.



Apex decisions for maintainability.
Design and maintain the Salesforce data model and security/sharing (Profiles, Permission Sets, role hierarchy, sharing rules, record types).
Execute releases and DevOps practices using SFDX, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and disciplined setting management.
Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools within the work setting to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables (e.g., code generation/refactoring, unit test creation, documentation), while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards; contributes learnings and reusable patterns to improve broader team effectiveness.
Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.
