What You'll Do
Analyse day-ahead, real-time, and forward market data to support bidding strategies and maximize scheduling and portfolio revenues across renewable and battery assets.
Manage power forecasting and scheduling activities, including demand and generation forecasting, deviation management, and DSM exposure coordination with system operators.
Track price trends, volatility, liquidity, and merchant exposure to assess market risks and identify revenue optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with the Operations team to monitor asset performance, identify improvement areas, and propose recent power plant optimization strategies.
Support the Business Development team by analysing tender requirements, assessing merchant risk, and quantifying potential revenue upsides for competitive bids.
Engage with the Supply and Energy Management team to evaluate Commercial and Industrial opportunities and develop aligned commercial structures.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on financial performance, S-P metrics,
and risk KPIs while ensuring compliance with exchange rules and market regulations.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Engineering. MBA from a premier institute is preferred.
8+ years of experience in energy trading and commercial management, with solid exposure to power markets.
Demonstrated expertise in renewable energy (solar, wind, hybrid projects) and familiarity with the Commercial and
Industrial segment.
Deep knowledge of energy markets, offtake agreements, power marketing, product structuring, and risk management frameworks.
Outstanding analytical skills with proven experience using advanced valuation and market models.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
