To manage the daily operations of the Raw Material Warehouse and Defective Material Warehouse by ensuring accurate inventory control, proper storage, timely material availability for production, and effective handling of rejected or defective materials while maintaining safety, quality, and 5S standards.
Key Responsibilities
Raw Material Warehouse Management
Oversee daily inward and outward material movements.
Ensure proper unloading, verification, and GRN processing.
Ensure correct identification, labeling, and storage of all materials.
Maintain FIFO/FEFO inventory control where applicable.
Ensure materials are issued accurately according
Maintain proper storage conditions to prevent moisture, contamination, and damage.
Conduct daily stock verification and periodic cycle counting.
Support monthly and annual physical inventory.
Defect Material Warehouse Management
Receive and segregate for storage defect material.
Ensure defective materials are clearly identified with proper status labels.
Maintain complete records of defective material quantity
Prepare picking and coordination with relevant department for defect material order.
Inventory Control & ERP Management
Ensure accurate stock accounting in ERP (Agile AX / In-house ERP).
Conduct regular cycle counts and monthly physical stock verification.
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
Monitor ageing inventory and slow-moving materials.
Ensure proper batch tracking and documentation.
Team Management
Lead warehouse operators.
Enforce discipline and productivity standards.
Conduct periodic performance reviews.
Train team on SOPs and compliance requirements.
