We are looking for a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer (Industrial Automation) to join our Projects Engineering team in Pune, India. This position reports to the Engineering Manager and offers prospects to work independently as well as within global project teams delivering automation solutions across process industries.
The role involves engineering, testing, commissioning, and support of Distributed Control Systems (DCS)for customer projects worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Support project planning activities together with the Project Manager, including scheduling, risk assessment, resource planning, and execution strategy.
Understand customer requirements, technical specifications, and project scope.
Participate in kick-off meetings and interface with customers, sales teams, and other engineering disciplines.

Engineering & Development
Develop and configure:
DCS applications
HMI applications
Alarm management and control strategies
Prepare engineering documentation, functional design specifications, I/O lists, test procedures.




Coordinate with hardware, software, and commissioning teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Support change management and project progress reporting.

Testing & Validation
Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Internal Testing, and Customer FAT.
Participate in system validation and troubleshooting activities.
Ensure engineering quality and compliance with project requirements.

Site Commissioning & Start-up
Perform installation support, commissioning, loop checks, startup activities, and performance testing at customer sites.
Troubleshoot control system issues and implement modifications when required.
Ensure secure work practices during site activities.
Support customer training and system handover.

Customer & Service Support
Work closely with customers to ensure successful implementation and satisfaction.
Participate in project-to-service handover activ
