Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and technically skilled CNC VMC Supervisor to manage day-to-day machine shop operations. The candidate will be responsible for supervising CNC/VMC machine operators, ensuring production targets are achieved, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring smooth and productive machine shop operations.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations of CNC and VMC machines in the machine shop.
Allocate jobs and manpower as per production requirements.
Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.
Ensure machines are operated as per approved process and work instructions.
Monitor machine setup, tool setting, offsets, and job changeovers.
Coordinate with CNC/VMC operators and ensure proper work allocation.




Check first-piece inspection and coordinate with the Quality Department.
Monitor dimensional accuracy and ensure production as per drawing and specifications.
Read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T;, and measurement instruments.
Coordinate with the Tool Room, Maintenance, Quality, and Production departments.
Monitor tool life and arrange for tool replacement when required.
Identify and report machine breakdowns and production issues to the concerned department.
Minimize machine downtime, rejection, and rework.
Maintain proper production records and shift reports.
Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S practices in the machine shop.
Follow all company safety rules and ensure protected working practices on the shop floor.
Manage shift operations and handover information to the next shift.
Guide and train operators to improve productivity and quality.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of CNC and VMC machine operations.
