Job Description:

Position: Test Means & Tooling Management Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Vadodara

Experience: 5 – 7 Years

Key Responsibilities

Tooling & Test Means Management
Manage customer-supplied and company-owned test means and industrial means.
Maintain and monitor functionality of all test equipment through inventory management systems.
Establish and enforce tool accountability, traceability, and tool management processes.
Develop and issue Tool and Test Equipment Usage Instructions.
Manage maintenance, calibration, installation, and application of aircraft test means.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives for tooling and functional test equipment.

Technical Review & Improvement
Review and improve functional test means, tooling, and industrial equipment.
Evaluate conceptual and detailed tool designs for compliance with engineering requirements.
Review Tool Review Board (TRB) dispositions and technical changes.
Validate manufacturing feasibility, functionality, and compliance with drawing standards.
Support tool manufacturing, prove-out, installation,



and troubleshooting activities.
Review tool modifications and design updates based on Tool Rejection Reports and Tool Change Requests.

Customer & Supplier Interface
Coordinate with customers and suppliers for current tooling and test equipment development.
Resolve technical queries related to tool design, manufacturing, maintenance, and usage.
Ensure smooth communication between customer system engineers and internal stakeholders.

Production & Operational Support
Support assembly lines by resolving tooling-related issues.
Issue tool usage instructions and user manuals.
Ensure tooling supports production quality, cost, safety, and schedule requirements.
