Exciting chance to work on Digital Flows/Methodologies architecture and development in EDA team at MaxLinear, Bangalore. Enable EDA flows and qualify tools on cutting edge IPs before rolling them to the wider community. In this role, you will focus on the following:
Develops, maintains, debugs and tests SOC Design Methodologies using Commercial EDA tools
Implements flows/scripts, defined by experts, to help design teams execute Front-End (RTL) to Back-End (GDS) flows seamlessly
Verify EDA flows are generating correct results (flow signoff) and setup tool regressions
Work closely with Engg IT and Database Mgmt teams to setup flows which work well with the Engineering Compute Infra in MaxLinear Datacenters
Support design engineers on the flow setup and resolve their queries
Qualifications
MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 2+ years or BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 3+ years of demonstrated experience in design, CAD or EDA tools support and development
Must have strong scripting abilities in Python and/or Perl, Shell and Tcl.
Experience in using AI tools effectively for productivity enhancement
Experience with Front-end Digital Design and/or PD and/or Digital Verification methodologies
Must have experience with Cadence/Synopsys/Siemens EDA Tools in these domains
Should be very valuable in data structures, algorithms and logical interpretation
Strong skills in debugging and analyzing techniques to understand existing scripts/flows; Ability to work independently and explore new domains
Must have UNIX knowledge and experience with data-management (version control) software
Familiarize with hands-on usage with IDEs Eclipse/PyCharm or any equivalent
Ability to document design methodologies & provide training on tools and workflows to design teams
Demonstrated experience with various EDA software, flows and architectures
Solid written and verbal interpersonal skills and track record of success in a coll
