Overview

Position Summary
SSOE is seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Chemical / Process Engineer to support the design and delivery of advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities and other high-technology industrial projects.

The successful candidate will lead the engineering of sophisticated process utility systems including ultra-pure water (UPW), specialty gases, chemical distribution, and waste handling systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary global teams. This individual will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, support business growth, and contribute to the development of engineering standards and creative design solutions.

This role offers the chance to work on large-scale, technically challenging projects across semiconductor, chemical, pharmaceutical, battery manufacturing, food & beverage, consumer products, and other advanced industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
15+ years of relevant process engineering experience in industrial or high-technology facility projects.
Solid working knowledge of process systems, fluid mechanics, utility infrastructure design, process safety, and engineering documentation.
Ability to independently lead technical tasks, review deliverables, manage priorities, and work with global teams across time zones.
