About Selections HR

Selections HR is a Thane-based recruitment firm with over a decade of experience placing talent across industries. We're in an active growth phase and looking for a business developer who can bring in new clients and deepen the relationships we already have.

The Role

This is a full-cycle business development role — part hunter, part farmer. You'll open recent client accounts, win recruitment mandates, and then keep those relationships healthy and growing over time. You're the bridge between Selections HR and the companies that trust us with their hiring, so you'll own both the pitch and the partnership.

What You'll Do
Identify and pursue new client accounts across target industries
Pitch Selections HR's recruitment services to HR leaders, founders, and hiring managers
Own the sales cycle end to end: prospecting, pitching, negotiating terms, and closing
Sign up new clients and secure recruitment mandates
Manage and grow existing accounts — understand hiring needs, expand the scope of work, and drive repeat business
Work closely with the delivery/recruitment team to ensure client mandates are met and clients stay happy




Track pipeline, activity, and revenue against targets
Represent Selections HR professionally in every client interaction

What We're Looking For
2–5 years in business development, sales, or client acquisition — recruitment/staffing industry strongly preferred
Proven track record of hitting or beating targets
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Confident communicator, comfortable pitching to senior decision-makers
Self-motivated and disciplined — work from home rewards those who drive themselves
Comfortable with CRM tools, LinkedIn, and outreach at scale
Bachelor's degree preferred

Nice to Have
Existing network of client contacts in HR or hiring functions
Understanding of the recruitment/staffing business model and margins
Experience managing accounts, not just closing them
