Job Responsibilities:
Operate and set up VTL (Vertical Turning Lathe) machines.
Load and unload components safely.
Perform machining operations as per drawings and specifications.
Select and change cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures.
Check component dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, etc.
Read and understand basic engineering drawings.
Maintain machine and workplace cleanliness.
Follow safety and quality standards.
Identify basic machine or tooling issues and inform the supervisor.
Required Skills:
Experience in VTL Machine Operation.
Basic knowledge of machining and cutting tools.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Knowledge of measuring instruments.
Knowledge of quality inspection.
Education: ITI / Diploma / Relevant Experience
