Job Responsibilities
Assist senior civil engineers in day-to-day construction activities.
Support site engineers in monitoring construction work as per drawings and specifications.
Assist in checking measurements and preparing quantity calculations.
Help prepare BOQ, measurement sheets, bills and daily progress reports.
Assist with material quantity calculations and material requirement planning.
Understand and assist in RCC, PCC, footing, column, beam, slab, masonry and finishing works.
Assist in checking shuttering, reinforcement and concrete work at site.
Maintain proper records of site activities, materials and measurements.
Coordinate with contractors, supervisors and workers under the guidance of senior engineers.
Assist in maintaining construction quality and safety standards.
Learn to read and understand civil drawings, structural drawings and site plans.
Perform other civil engineering and project-related duties assigned by the senior engineer.
