Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and commercially oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function of a leading listed manufacturing group with ₹1,000 Cr+ turnover, based in Surat, Gujarat. We are seeking an experienced and commercially oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function of a leading listed manufacturing group with ₹1,000 Cr+ turnover, based in Surat, Gujarat. The CFO will be a key member of the senior leadership team and will work closely with the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, Promoters, Investors, Lenders and Senior Management. The role will go beyond traditional finance and will involve driving financial strategy, capital allocation, profitability, governance, fundraising, risk management and long-term business growth across the Group. This is a high-visibility leadership opportunity for a seasoned finance professional who has successfully operated in a listed and complex manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Finance & Business Partnership

- Develop and execute the Group's overall financial strategy aligned with business and growth objectives.
- Partner with the Board, Promoters and Senior Management on strategic and commercial decisions.
- Provide financial insights to drive revenue growth, profitability, cash generation and shareholder value.
- Evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement.
- Support expansion, diversification and strategic investment initiatives.

2. Financial Planning & Performance Management

- Lead FP&A;, budgeting, forecasting, MIS and financial performance management across the Group.
- Establish robust financial KPIs and performance-monitoring mechanisms.
- Drive monthly and quarterly financial reviews with business and functional leadership.
- Analyse business performance, margins, cost structures and profitability drivers.
- Drive cost optimisation and improve overall financial efficiency.

3. Treasury, Cash Flow & Working Capital

- Lead Group-wide treasury, liquidity and cash-flow management.
- Optimise working capital, receivables, inventory and payables.
- Manage banking relationships and negotiate appropriate financing facilities.
- Develop strategies for efficient deployment of surplus funds and capital.




- Ensure adequate liquidity to support business operations and expansion.

4. Fund Raising & Corporate Finance

- Lead debt and equity fundraising initiatives as required.
- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors, rating agencies and other financial stakeholders.
- Oversee debt structuring, refinancing and capital allocation.
- Evaluate various financing options to optimise the Group's capital structure.
- Lead financial evaluation of CAPEX, expansion projects, strategic investments and M&A; opportunities.

5. Listed Company Finance, Governance & Compliance

- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with Ind AS and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI, LODR, Stock Exchange and other applicable regulations.
- Work closely with the Board and Audit Committee on financial reporting, governance, controls and risk matters.
- Oversee statutory audit, internal audit, taxation and other financial compliance requirements.
- Strengthen corporate governance, financial controls and risk-management frameworks.

6. Group Finance & Consolidation

- Provide financial leadership across multiple group companies, business units and manufacturing locations.
- Oversee consolidation, inter-company transactions and group-level reporting.
- Standardise finance processes, policies, controls and reporting mechanisms across entities.
- Drive integration and efficiency across the Group's finance organisation.

7. Taxation & Risk Management

- Oversee direct and indirect taxation strategy and compliance.
- Ensure effective tax planning while maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Identify and mitigate financial, operational and regulatory risks.
- Strengthen internal controls and financial governance across the organisation.

8. Finance Transformation & Team Leadership

- Drive digital transformation, automation and technology adoption within the finance function.
- Strengthen ERP, MIS, reporting and financial analytics capabilities.




- Build and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting organisation.
- Develop a strong succession pipeline and finance leadership team.
- Establish a culture of accountability, transparency and performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Education

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI is mandatory.

Additional qualifications such as CFA, MBA, CS or other relevant credentials will be an advantage.

Experience

- 18–25+ years of overall experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Proven experience as CFO / Group CFO / Finance Director / Business Finance Head / equivalent senior finance leadership role.
- Strong experience in a listed company environment is highly preferred.
- Significant experience in manufacturing, preferably within a business/group having ₹750 Cr+ turnover.
- Experience managing multi-entity/group finance structures and manufacturing operations will be strongly preferred.
