Job Description – Branch Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Branch Manager to lead our Rajkot branch. The candidate will be responsible for driving branch business, managing client relationships, developing new opportunities, and leading the branch team. A good understanding of General Insurance products and processes will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive overall business growth and revenue for the Rajkot branch.
- Develop new clients and strengthen relationships with existing corporate and retail customers.
- Generate business through direct sales, referrals, intermediaries, and local market relationships.
- Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of the branch team.
- Identify new business opportunities across General Insurance and other financial services.
- Coordinate with insurers and internal teams for quotations, policy issuance, renewals, claims, and servicing.
- Ensure timely follow-up on renewals and business pipelines.




- Build and maintain solid relationships with corporates, SMEs, agents, advisors, and other business partners.
- Monitor branch targets, business performance, collections, and operational activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and applicable insurance regulations.
- Represent the company at client meetings, business events, and local market activities.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate/MBA with relevant experience in Insurance, Broking, BFSI, or Financial Services.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with experience in General Insurance.
- Good understanding of General Insurance products such as Motor, Health, Property, Marine, Liability, and Commercial Insurance.
- Strong business development and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong local market knowledge and business network in Rajkot and surrounding areas will be an advantage.
- Target-oriented, proactive, and capable of independently managing branch operations.
