We are looking for an experienced and result-driven General Manager – Sales & Marketing to lead and drive our sales and marketing operations across India. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the Building Materials industry, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in managing large-scale sales operations and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth through project and retail channels across Pan India.
- Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, architects, consultants, and key industry stakeholders.
- Manage key accounts and identify current project opportunities.
- Develop new business avenues and expand market presence.
- Oversee sales planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure effective credit control and timely collections.
- Analyse market trends and identify new growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline; an MBA in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in Sales & Marketing within the Building Materials industry.
- Strong experience in project sales and retail sales channels.
- Proven ability to lead and manage large sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage complex projects and work independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
