Role Description The Garment Merchandiser role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The Garment Merchandiser will coordinate between buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to manage orders from inquiry to delivery, including sample development, costing, and approvals. Day-to-day tasks include tracking production timelines, monitoring quality, ensuring compliance with buyer specifications, and resolving issues related to fabrics, trims, and finishes.



The role involves maintaining strong client relationships, preparing reports on order status and performance, and collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and retail teams to support business objectives. The Garment Merchandiser is expected to work proactively, handle multiple projects, and contribute to a smooth, productive merchandising process.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for coordinating with buyers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Retail skills to manage buyer expectations and support on-ground merchandising activities.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Marketing skills to help drive order acquisition, product positioning, and brand visibility.
- Relevant experience in garment merchandising, apparel production, or fashion retail is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and quality standards is preferred.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and time-management abilities are expected.
- A diploma or degree in Fashion, Textile, Apparel Merchandising, Business, or a related field is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic data/report management tools is useful.
