Role Overview : We are looking for a motivated and target-oriented Admissions Counselor to manage and support the admissions process. The role involves achieving student admission targets, generating and converting leads, developing relationships with consultants and other lead sources, and guiding prospective students throughout the admission journey, particularly for Working Professionals Programs .
Key Responsibilities:
1. Admissions & Target Achievement
- Manage the smooth functioning of the Admissions Department.
- Achieve annual student admission targets across various programs.
- Manage the complete admissions process from application review to final selection.
- Ensure a smooth and efficient experience for applicants.
2. Lead Generation & Business Development
- Coordinate with consultants and other stakeholders for lead generation.
- Identify and develop new sources of student leads.
- Conduct meetings with consultants, partners, and potential lead-generation sources.
- Develop strategies to attract qualified candidates.
3. Student Counseling & Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospective students.
- Guide candidates throughout the admissions process.
- Understand the needs and motivations of working professionals seeking further education and career advancement.
- Conduct information sessions, webinars, and outreach activities.
- Explain program offerings, curriculum, and career opportunities to prospective students.
4. Marketing & Outreach
- Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams.
- Support targeted campaigns and promotional activities.
- Develop strategies to increase program visibility and attract prospective students.
5. Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with faculty, admissions committee members, and other internal stakeholders.
- Support the application review and admission decision-making process.
- Maintain strong relationships with external consultants and admission partners.
6. Reporting & Data Analysis
- Monitor admissions trends and performance.
- Analyse admission data and lead-conversion metrics.
- Prepare reports to track progress against targets.
- Use data to support strategic decision-making.
