Scope of work
· Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations across group entities (bank, vendor, intercompany, and control accounts).
· Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable process including invoice verification, coding, approvals, and vendor payments.
· Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls as the company scales.
· Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including accruals, provision and preparation of management reports.
· Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS/GAAP as relevant) and internal accounting policies.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Ops, Legal, Payments, Product) to ensure accurate transaction recording, particularly for subscription/SaaS revenue flows.
· Support statutory and internal audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor queries.
· Assist with Payroll, tax filings (TDS, GST, VAT)
and other statutory compliance requirements as applicable.
Requirements
· Strong fundamentals in accounting principles.
· Working knowledge of intercompany accounting and multi currency transactions.
· Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and solid Excel/Google Sheets skills.
· Strong ownership, attention to detail, and communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience: B.Com / M.Com / CMA inter / CA Inter with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
Target profiles:
· SaaS, fintech, or payments companies with subscription revenue models.
· Hands-on exposure to intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations
· Experience accounting for multi-currency transactions across group entities
