Role Overview
Khaitan India Ltd. is looking for a dynamic, high-impact Business Manager to lead commercial operations, revenue generation, and market expansion across key South Indian markets, based out of Chennai.
The role demands a seasoned sales leader with strong ground-level distributor networks in consumer durables, SDA, or the fan industry. The incumbent will be responsible for defining regional go-to-market strategies, expanding retail penetration, managing primary and secondary sales targets, and leading a high-performing sales force.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Growth: Formulate and execute territorial sales plans to consistently achieve primary and secondary sales targets across value and volume metrics.
Distribution & Channel Expansion: Appoint, manage, and expand strong distributor, direct dealer, and multi-brand outlet (MBO)



networks across Chennai and surrounding regional territories.
Commercial & Credit Control: Monitor distributor ROI, working capital cycles, outstanding collections, and credit control in accordance with company trade policies.
Team Leadership & Performance: Direct, mentor, and evaluate the performance of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Sales Executives, and field officers to maximize frontline productivity.
Trade Marketing & Promotions: Implement effective dealer schemes, festival activations, visual merchandising, and product launch campaigns to increase secondary off-take.
Market Intelligence & Product Positioning: Track competitor pricing, new product trends, and channel dynamics to advise leadership on regional product alignment and pricing strategies.
Supply Chain Coordination: Liaise with regional carrying and forwarding agents (C&F;), warehouses, and supply chain teams to maintain optimal stock replenishment cycles.
